Recent Hyatt Place Windward Review: "Walking in the lobby, I immediately noticed this hotel was on a whole other level than I expected. The gallery hosts, a.k.a. front desk associates, were for the most part courteous and helpful but stood behind a bar made of granite. The kitchen and food options were great considering there was no true restaurant in the facility. I enjoyed having a gym onsite, although the machines were high tech touch screen, the quality of the exercise was limited due to the actual fitness quality of the machines. We reserved a room with double beds and were given a room with one bed, however, the couch was a pull out so we weren't too concerned. The room featured a wet bar, a 42" plasma and very modern furnishings. I will say the bathroom was lacking. The shower was slow and the water wasn't very hot. The hotel also does not have parking for large vehicles, we were in a moving truck and had to park elsewhere. For the money, hands down- this was a great deal. For the price of a super 8, to stay in a boutique style hotel was very unexpected. However I will rate this a 4 out of 5 because of the shower and the room mix-up."
