| I really liked this hotel. The owners were nice. He had a bit of a problem with a loud family the night we checked in. The next morning at breakfast he apologized to every single person that came in there. Most did not even notice the people. Nothing in the room grossed me out like a lot of hotels. The food area for the breakfast was not real big but hey, you work with what you got. It was free. The pic.s on the sight do not give it justice. I thought the pool looked more exposed in the pic.s. It was fine with bushes,trees, and a partial fence around it. Would stay here again for sure. Lots of places to eat walking distance. felt safe there. I saw the owner give a refund to some1 when he decided to check out early. Usually that does not happen. |

| there is anything wrong with this hotel for the money. wanted to stay in Helen but it was last minute and there werent any good prices left. rooms were clean, nice small outdoor pool. |

| No breakfast at all. They had maybe four muffins and some white bread at 6am and that is when it started. I felt bad for other people coming later. However, room was clean and bed was fine and it was nice to have frig to keep beverages cold overnight. Was not able to understand the lobby person and wasn't allowed in to check in, she sent it thru a little slot and never smiled. Ok for one or two nights and plenty of breakfast places right around there. |

| Was given a second story room. My wife went back in and requested a first floor room, and they give her one with no problem. Staff said hello everytime they saw us. |

| No water in shower, so taking a shower was not happening. Toliet didn't work ran all the time, manager called at 2:45A and said "get up and fix toliet," it was bothering them! No place to eat breakfast, altho small cont. break was provided.........
Loved the location, within walking distance to everythin...........There answer to everything, was "I will fix tomorrow!" |

| As soon as we got the kids and bags in the room,we found rat poop, and moved rooms.My 18 month old found like 3 peices of wood with nails... the cracks around the door were huge, and a lizard ran into our room, with the door fully closed |

| It was ok, very limited breakfast - we went to Glenda's resturant right next door.
For such a small town and older hotel, you would think the hotel price would have been lower. |

| Nothing outstanding one way or the other, just an ordinary motel, o.k. for one night but would not want to spend a week there. |

| The lobby was very small and there wasn't much variety for breakfast. You'd probably do better to drive 5 minutes to Glenda's for breakfast. If you have kids or are just young at heart Babyland, where the Cabbage Patch Kids are made, is just around the corner. |
